Electric Vehicle Charging

Âé¶¹Ó³»­ is pleased to announce that 12 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations have been upgraded and are now available for use across the main campus. The upgraded charging stations provide convenient access for students, employees, visitors, and community members who drive electric vehicles.

The EV charging stations are located in the following campus parking areas:

  • Building 100 Parking Area – 4 charging stations ()
  • Building 1500 Parking Area – 4 charging stations ()
  • Building 3700 Parking Area – 4 charging stations ()

Charging stations are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

EV Charging Rates & Usage Guidelines

  • Charging Rate: $0.30 per kWh
  • Maximum Charging Session: 4 hours
  • Loitering Fee: Vehicles remaining in a charging space beyond the 4-hour maximum usage period will be subject to a $10 per hour loitering fee.
  • Âé¶¹Ó³»­ Parking permits are required for parking in any campus parking lot. Visit the Âé¶¹Ó³»­ Parking website for ways to purchase a permit. 

To ensure access for all EV drivers, users are encouraged to move their vehicles once charging is complete or the 4-hour limit has been reached.

How to Use the EV Chargers

To access and use the EV charging stations, users will need to download the SWTCH mobile app and create an account.
