CalWORKs - California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids
CalWORKs (California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids) is a statewide public assistance program that provides cash aid and services to eligible families that have a child or children in their household.
Âé¶¹Ó³» CalWORKs Program
The CalWORKs Program at Âé¶¹Ó³» helps parenting students with children under 18 years old pursue their educational and occupational goals while meeting county guidelines and requirements.

- Referral to on-campus and off-campus supportive services
Eligibility
- Receiving CalWORKs services from the County Health and Human Services Agency
- Be enrolled in a class NVC.
Intake Appointment
To join the NVC CalWORKs Program, please complete the following steps:
- Complete Steps 1-3 of the 5 Steps to Enroll.
- Request a verification of benefits (CalWORKs)
- Download a verification of benefits from or
- Request a verification from your County Worker
- Complete a .
- Schedule an appointment with the CalWORKs Counselor by clicking the "Book an Appointment" on the side bar or by calling 707-256-7301.
- Bring the following documents with you to the appointment:
- Current verification of CalWORKs
- Copy of your county Welfare-to-Work plan (if completed)
