On-Campus Food Resources

Basic Needs Center:

  • is an appointment based service available to any enrolled Âé¶¹Ó³»­ student to receive FREE groceries, hygiene items and school supplies.  Monday-Friday to support all enrolled Âé¶¹Ó³»­ students. Register with Pantry Soft to pick up food and hygiene items. Drop-in for clothing, menstrual products and diapers and wipes for students with infants. Located in Room 1202 behind the Little Theater (building 1200).
  • CalFresh CalFresh can help eligible households pay for groceries! The CalFresh Outreach team at the Basic Needs Center can support NVC students with the application. Make an appointment here or complete the to screen your eligibility.

Off-Campus Food Resources

Community food support:

  • The Napa County Food Access Coalition can connect you with local food resources. Visit their website for details of food pantries and other no cost food resources throughout the county.
  • Food is Free Bay Area distributes food every week at several locations across Solano County.
  • Feeding Americ'as food bank locator tool can help find a food bank in your area, just enter your zipcode in the food bank locator tool. 
  • WIC is a county program that helps provide supplemental foods to meet the special nutritional needs of eligible pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, infants, and children up to 5 years old.

CalFresh:

  • helps find retailers in your area that accept EBT.
  • lets you double your CalFresh beneifts to purchase fruits and vegetables at the Napa Valley Farmers Market. Just swipe your EBT card and receive matching funds to spend at the market.
